February is National Recreation Therapy Month and we want to take this time to recognize our very own Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who work hard every month to provide exceptional programs and events for our community.

Jennifer Rizzo (left) is a recreation specialist over at the Sterling Heights Senior Center and is dedicated to creating programs that allow seniors to socialize, stimulate their brains, and participate in activities that help build overall health and self-confidence!

Becca Lynn (right) is a recreation specialist focused on providing opportunities for our Adaptive Recreation participants to increase overall health, wellbeing and quality of life. Being an Adaptive Recreation specialist with #MYSHPR allows Becca to create experiences that enrich the lives of our special needs participants.
