Township of Shelby issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.
The annual electronics recycling event will take place 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10 at River Bends Park.
Hazardous waste will not be accepted at this event and is scheduled for later in the month. Accepted items include all televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, copier combos, VCR’s, keyboards & mice, DVD & CD players, microwaves, stereos, speakers, miscellaneous cables, computer parts, telephones, cell phones, game consoles, handheld electronics (iPods, Game Boys, etc.), vacuums, small appliances, holiday lights.
