TOWNSHIP OF SHELBY: Clerk's Office mails 23,500 ballots

Township of Shelby issued the following announcement on Sept. 29. 

Shelby Township Clerk Stanley Grot and his staff mailed more than 23,500 absentee ballots to voters Sept. 28. It is a new record for ballots mailed at one time and for an entire election. The prior record was 14,500 for the Aug. 4, 2020, primary election. If you requested an absentee ballot, check your mailbox in the coming days. If you would like a ballot, you can still request one from the Clerk's Office. Call 586-731-5102 for more information.
