The following day, September 24, 2025, Schriver addressed proposed legislation known as The Public Morals Act. He wrote, "I will not be advancing The Public Morals Act as is. I am drafting a new version that removes all language regarding VPNs and non-pornographic imagery to ensure this policy only addresses pornography." This statement indicates a revision of the bill’s scope to focus solely on regulating pornographic content and exclude provisions related to virtual private networks (VPNs) or non-pornographic material.
Later that same day, Schriver commented on a legal case involving a hunter and state authorities: "An innocent hunter was nearly bankrupted, dragged through court, and threatened with six-figure fines…over a deer. Case dismissed, but the damage is done. We’ve exposed lawfare from the AG. Now we’re exposing lawfare from the DNR. TRUTH TO LIGHT". In this post, he criticized what he described as aggressive legal tactics used by both the Attorney General's office and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
