Yard waste collection will begin on Monday, April 3!
Just a few helpful reminders:
Acceptable Yard Waste:
- Branches / brush less than four feet long, securely tied and bundled
- Flowers and other “soft” material
- Grass clippings and garden weeds
- Leaves
Acceptable Yard Waste Containers:
- 32-gallon cans, 64 or 96 gallon carts marked “Compost” with the yellow GFL sticker. Stickers are available at City Hall and DPW building on 18 Mile Road.
- Heavy Duty Paper Yard Waste Bags
- Yard waste will not be picked up in clear, colored or black bags of any type.
