January is National Radon Action Month. The only way to know whether your home has elevated radon levels is to test your home. It is recommended you test your home for radon every 2 years. For more information go to http://bit.ly/3gjoSEl.
We can help. Test kits are available for Macomb County residents free of charge while supplies last. Residents must call ahead to reserve their test kit. The kits are available at two convenient Health Department locations: in Mount Clemens at 43525 Elizabeth Road, phone 586-469-5236; and in Warren at 27690 Van Dyke, phone 586-465-8030. Call during our normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. to reserve your kit for pickup.
