Free Boating Safety Class!
Did you know that those born after December 31, 1978 must have a boating safety certificate to operate a PWC (jet ski) legally. Did you also know that those born on or after July 1, 1996, must have a boating safety certificate to operate a boat legally. The operator must be in possession of their certificate while operating either a boat or a PWC.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office will be offering a free boating safety class to earn your certificate on November 29th and 30th from 5pm - 9pm. You must be present for both dates to earn your certificate.
To sign up for this class, please visit: https://michigan.storefront.kalkomey.com/.../assigne.../3082. The attendee must create an account using the listed link. Once an account is created you can search for available BOATER SAFETY EDUCATION classes through the website. Choose the MACOMB COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE to register.
