Red Ribbon/Substance Use Prevention Week in Chippewa Valley Schools - The Dangers of Youth Alcohol Use
Help us celebrate Red Ribbon/Substance Use Prevention Week by educating others about the dangers of underage drinking including damage to the developing teen brain, academic underperformance, addiction, mental health issues, relational, and physical problems.
Red Ribbon Fact:
On the 2022 Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth Survey of Chippewa Valley Schools’ 9th & 11th graders, students that said they drank alcohol were 2 times more likely to report “D” and “F” grades than students that said they didn’t drink.
