Senior Fun Fest returns to Macomb County, sponsors and vendors needed

The Macomb County Office of Senior Services will host its 31st annual Senior Fun Festival on Thursday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to Noon - the first since 2019. The festival, which has attracted more than 1,000 attendees in the past, will be held at the Lorenzo Cultural Center at Garfield and Hall Road. It will feature a variety of resources focused on seniors and caregivers, including free health screenings, wellness information, raffles and giveaways.

“We’re so excited to resume offering this outstanding event for Macomb County seniors,” Sheila Cote, director, Macomb County Office of Senior Services.

County Executive Mark Hackel will be the event emcee.

"This event is a fantastic opportunity to bring seniors together and to celebrate our community," said Hackel. "And it wouldn't be possible without the work and dedication of our Senior Services team here at the County. They do an incredible job organizing vendors, resources and more to ensure everyone has a great time. It really is a signature event for us and I look forward to it every year.”

The Office of Senior Services is currently looking for sponsors and vendors. Sponsorship packages range from $750 to $5,000 and can be altered to meet branding needs. To ensure logo placement on marketing materials, sponsors need to be confirmed by Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Vendor tables are also available for $250; the cost for non-profit organizations is $100. Vendors are provided a table with tablecloth and two chairs. There will be a limited number of tables with access to electric outlets and registration for this opportunity closes September 20.

To speak to someone about becoming a sponsor or to register for a table, please contact Wendie Previdi at (586) 342-8968 or wendie.previdi@macombgov.org. Applications to become a sponsor or registered vendor, along with additional information about the event, can be found at macombgov.org/seniors.

Note: This event is to provide information and resources to Macomb County seniors and caregivers. No political campaigning or promoting ballot initiatives.
