Red Run Drain – 2022 Invasive Species Control

There will be an invasive plant treatment along the Red Run Drain and surrounding areas, scheduled for Thursday, August 11, 2022.

The target species for this round of spraying will be Japanese Knotweed as well as isolated patches of Yellow Clover. All knotweed plants will be foliar sprayed with ClearCast (Imazamox), Glyphosate 5.4, and a Cygnet Plus surfactant. Clover will be foliar sprayed with Renovate 3 (Triclopyr) and a Cygnet Plus surfactant.

A blue dye (PLM Blue) will be added to the tank mix to mark the treated plants. Bright yellow signs will also be placed just outside of the treatment area boundaries to notify the public of any usage restrictions.
