Cone Zone Update
On Monday, Aug. 15, the Macomb County Department of Roads is starting a project to asphalt resurface Hayes Road from 18 Mile Road to M59.
The project will entail concrete base repairs and curb replacement prior to the asphalt milling and resurfacing.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction throughout the duration of the project. Turning movements may be limited at times during construction and the possibility of planned local road closures as well to construct intersections.
The project is anticipated to be completed mid-November of this year.
