Rep. Josh Schriver, a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, posted several statements on his Twitter account on September 9, 2025, addressing issues concerning state governance and legal proceedings.
In one post from September 9, 2025, Schriver raised concerns about the attendance record of the state's health official: "The Michigan Director of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) reveals she might be in her office one time each week…at best? She’s running a department with a $36 Billion annual budget. This revelation is deeply concerning to every taxpayer in Michigan."
Later that day, Schriver commented on recent developments regarding legal actions against individuals associated with the 2020 presidential election. In his post dated September 9, 2025, he stated: "VINDICATED! Every charge dropped. All 15 Trump electors in Michigan—INNOCENT. 120 'felonies' DISMISSED. The court confirmed what we’ve known all along: Dana Nessel is (still) a thug."
Schriver also acknowledged Meshawn Maddock in another tweet from September 9, 2025: @MeshawnMaddock
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services oversees significant programs including Medicaid and public health services for millions of residents each year.
Legal proceedings related to alternate electors following the 2020 presidential election have drawn attention across multiple states; charges against those accused in Michigan were dismissed after review by state courts.
Dana Nessel serves as Michigan's Attorney General and has been involved in high-profile cases concerning election law enforcement.
