There are four Sterling Heights public education employees who earn $100,000 or more annually, according to the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.

The highest annual salary earned among Sterling Heights public education employees was $194,400 to Robert Monroe.

The highest salary was $219,176 in 2020.

According to records, four individuals received some form of compensation for their work from Sterling Heights in 2021. Of those, no earned less than $20,000.

More than one-third of Michigan residents said they believe school quality has worsened in recent years, and two-thirds say schools need more funding.
