Clintondale Community Schools issued the following announcement on Jan 20.
Clintondale Schools wants to create a safe and healthy learning environment for your child. The COVID-19 vaccine can protect your child and is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID.
That’s why the Clintondale Community School District is hosting two vaccination clinics for students, faculty and staff, and anyone in the community, five years and older, in partnership with Ascension Health.
Individuals can be vaccinated at the Clintondale High School clinic site on January 24-25 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
This event is for anyone five years and older who want to start the series (first dose), finish the series (second dose) or requires a vaccine booster (six months after the second dose).
A parent/guardian must accompany students at the vaccination clinic, unless the vaccination consent and pediatric consent forms are filled out beforehand.
The vaccination clinic will be set up in the first-floor conference center in the high school, located at 35200 Little Mack Avenue in Clinton Township. Vaccines will be available first-come, first-serve. No registration is required ahead of time.
The vaccines are free and available regardless of health insurance, citizenship or immigration status.
The Coffee with the Superintendent, originally scheduled for the conference room on Jan. 25, has been moved. It will now be held in the high school library on Jan. 25 at 10 a.m.
