City of Richmond issued the following announcement on Nov 25.
The City of Richmond EDC is holding a Christmas Cash event as part of the Community Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 4th. This event starts on Friday, November 26th and runs through Saturday, December 4th. Enter for your chance to win a cash prize of $500. Your entry will be made with a purchase of $10 or more at any of the participating businesses.
For every $100 bought in purchases, you will receive 10 tickets (maximum per purchase-per store). You must be present at the Tree Lighting to win and be 18 years of age or older. The drawing will take place at the Veterans pocket park at 69259 Main Street (next to Wild Flower Yoga Studio) immediately following the tree lighting.
