City of Sterling Heights issued the following announcement on Oct 29.

Sterling Heights Parks & Recreation will be hosting a blood drive with Versiti Blood Services at the Community Center on Monday, Nov. 1 and Nov. 16 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The blood supply for patients continues to be a challenge, leaving often less than one day supply of many blood types. Versiti is encouraging those who are eligible, please make an appointment to donate!
