City of Sterling Heights issued the following announcement on Oct 15.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer, and our Police and Fire Department have been showing their support all month long!
The Sterling Heights Police Department is bringing awareness through wearing commemorative pink badges, while the Sterling Heights Fire Department will being sporting pink on their uniform shirts in the month of October to recognize National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The City will also have the Halo on Hall Rd. lit pink this weekend for Breast Cancer Awareness.
