City of Richmond issued the following announcement on Sept 22.
Summer taxes are payable online or at City Hall though September 30, 2021 without penalty.
As of October 1, 2021, an initial 4% penalty plus 1% interest per month will apply. Qualifying individuals can fill out a deferment application to allow them to pay summer taxes through February 28, 2021 without penalty. Note : this application must be completed and turned in to the city prior to the September 30, 2021 tax due date.
