City of Laingsburg issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
August Community Recycling Drive is coming up!
The next Laingsburg area recycling drive was scheduled for Saturday, August 14, from 9 am to 1 pm in the usual location on Roosevelt Row downtown. The GLR hopes to see you there!
- If you drive down Woodbury Rd. you might notice that the construction site for our future community recycling center has already been prepped.
- The GLR still needs to raise more funds to cover the equipment that will be needed for expanded operation. Flyers describing the Community Recycling Center will be available at the drive, and you can contribute to our GoFundMe campaign through the link on our website (https://recyclelaingsburg.wixsite.com/mysite) and Facebook page.
