Our Shelby chamber scholarship winner Jarrett Furman, congratulations.
Student Scholarship Spotlight - Jarrett Furman!
"I have pushed myself to be the best leader I can possibly be on the court, on the field, and in the classroom. I believe the world becomes smaller and smaller with each connection you make." Jarrett Furman is a graduate of Shelby High School and a 2020 recipient of the Shelby Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Through his time at Shelby, Jarrett endeavored to grow as a leader. He was his Class President, the President of Shelby's National Honor Society, and his basketball team's Captain. While representing his school at the Rotary Life Leadership Conference, Jarrett learned how to set ambitious goals for himself. Jarrett additionally was an Boy Scout, achieving the highest rank of Eagle Scout.
