MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN: Township business will be closed except for ELECTIONS on November 2 and 3

Closed 1860909 1920

Macomb Township, Michigan issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.

All Township business will be closed except for ELECTIONS on Monday November 2 and Tuesday November 3. The purpose for the closing is that voters can come in on Monday to vote in person, and according to state directives they are not required to wear masks nor can we require them to have their temperatures tested. On Tuesday, Election Day, the same situation occurs. Now that Michigan voters can register to vote on Election Day, hundreds of voters are expected to be here in person, as was demonstrated in the August Primary.
