Macomb Township, Michigan issued the following announcement on July 8.
Due to the dry weather conditions there is a BURN BAN in effect until further notice for Macomb Township. All active burn permits have been rescinded, and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Macomb Township will continue to monitor conditions, and lift the ban when appropriate to do so.
