HURON ACADEMY: Pickup Schedule Student Belongings

Announcement

Huron Academy issued the following announcement on May 30.

Our teachers have bagged up personal belongings and we have prepared to welcome you to the school to retrieve your child’s belongings. Parents are asked to pick up their student’s belongings from 9:00am-1:00pm on the designated days. We are committed to the safety of our students, families and staff, so we will be asking you to line up in your cars where a staff member will approach, keeping a safe distance, and you will let us know who you are picking up belongings for. Another staff member will retrieve your child’s things while we determine other items we have for you that could include; student yearbooks, field trip reimbursements, summer bridge books, or Mother/Son Night refunds. This is also a great time to return textbooks and school library books and we will record their return.

Schedule:

Monday, June 1st - Kindergarten (Metro)

Tuesday, June 2nd - 1st Grade (Metro)

Wednesday, June 3rd - 2nd Grade (Metro)

Thursday, June 4th - 3rd Grade (Utica)

Friday, June 5th - Preschool (Metro)

Monday, June 8th - 4th Grade (Utica)

Tuesday, June 9th - 5th Grade (Utica)

Wednesday, June 10th - Middle School (Utica)

Thursday, June 11th - Middle School (Utica)

Parents are asked to please stay in their cars and be patient as we safely attend to you. Staff will be on hand on these days to also check-in your enrollment paperwork that will require you to enter the school so please wear a mask for this purpose. With everyone’s cooperation we are confident that the process will be smooth and more importantly safe for all involved.
