Huron Academy issued the following announcement on Feb. 27.
Mrs. Shermetaro is a new kindergarten teacher this year at Huron Academy, however, she has been a teacher for several years prior to coming here. She always puts the needs of her students first and works tirelessly to help them succeed. She is in constant communication with her families to keep them updated on their child's progress. She brings great ideas to our school and has a lot of patience with her students. She is an amazing team member and is a pleasure to work with. #whyiteach #teacherspotlight
