Huron Academy issued the following announcement on Jan. 23.
Ms. Waterman is one of the newest staff members we have on our team. Teaching 3rd Grade, this is her first full year at Huron Academy, after coming onboard during Semester 2 last year. She is energetic and creative, and as a result, the students love her. She is that special type of teacher that challenges the students while still making learning fun. She's very involved in the literacy of our students, being active with Book Fair and March is Reading Month. Overall, Ms. Waterman is doing a fantastic job, and any student would be lucky to have a teacher so knowledgeable and passionate. #whyiteach #teacherspotlight
