Shelby Township recently issued the following announcement.
The Macomb County Department of Roads, in conjunction with the Lake St. Clair Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area, provides notice to property owners adjacent to county roadways of the 2019 Phragmites Herbicide Application Program for the roadside right-of-ways within Harrison, Clinton, Shelby, Washington and Ray townships.
Property owners may choose to opt-out of the program if their property falls within the spray zone using by filling out the no treatment form and submitting to it to the Shelby Township Supervisor’s Office. For more information, call 586-731-5154 or email info@shelbytwp.org.
