On Friday, March 7, former L’Anse Creuse High School standout Will Goebel’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 16-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Malone Pioneers.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks.
