Rep. Josh Schriver, a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, has recently made several statements on social media addressing national security, public safety, and community values.
On September 10, 2025, Schriver highlighted the achievements of local businesses in his state by stating, "Michigan companies like Airspace Link are winning Air Force contracts while fostering a workforce of native Michigan residents. This is the model—strengthen national security, create American jobs for Americans, and keep critical technology in American hands. #AmericaFirst". In this post, he emphasized the importance of supporting domestic industries that contribute to both job creation and national defense.
Later that same day, Schriver called for prayers in response to an unspecified situation involving someone named Charlie. He wrote on September 10: "Pray to Jesus Christ for Charlie and his family. Pray for no escalation of violence. Prayer is action."
Two days later, on September 12, Schriver announced new legislative efforts aimed at protecting public morals and children’s safety. He posted: "Yesterday, I introduced the “Anti-Corruption of Public Morals Act” + adding porn distributors to the sex offender registry. Don’t make it, don’t share it, don’t view it. These measures defend children, safeguard our communities, and put families first." The introduction of this legislation follows broader debates across states about how to regulate explicit content online and protect minors from exposure.
