Later that day, Schriver commented on the broader state of the nation: "America is deeply lost in a kerfuffle and in need of a redemption of the likes only our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can accomplish. I submit, now comes a time for the miracles of God." (August 13, 2025).

Schriver represents constituents in Michigan’s state legislature. State representatives like Schriver are responsible for introducing bills and serving as liaisons between their districts and state government.
