Representative Josh Schriver has recently shared a series of statements on social media addressing Michigan’s industrial capacity, the allocation of state funds to international business partnerships, and a brief commentary directed at Americans. The posts, published over three consecutive days in July 2025, reflect Schriver’s views on resource management, transparency in public spending, and cultural commentary.

On July 10, 2025, Schriver emphasized Michigan's potential for domestic copper production. He stated: "Michigan's magnificent Upper Peninsula is where we can easily mine our own copper. THERE’S NO NEED TO LOOK FOR COPPER OUTSIDE OF AMERICA. Michigan is in a perfect position to become a re-industrialized powerhouse for our Great Nation."

The following day, July 11, 2025, Schriver questioned the transparency of state expenditures related to Global Link International. He posted: "$20,000,000 Michigan tax dollars to Global Link International… -61 international business startups -9 international partnerships Partnerships with which nations? Buisness startups with which nations? Global Link International won’t say!"

On July 12, 2025, Schriver offered a succinct message: "Keep your shoes on, America."

Global Link International is an economic development organization that facilitates international business partnerships and startup investments using public and private funds.
