Absentee/mail ballots must be processed before they can be counted. Recently, Michigan lawmakers approved absentee ballot pre-processing to help avoid counting delays on Nov. 8, 2022, Election Day. In Clinton Township, ballot pre-processing will begin on Monday, Nov. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
