St. Clair Shores Public Library recently issued the following announcement.
Do you have an interest in local history? The Selinsky-Green Farmhouse tells the story of how our local ancestors once lived and greatly needs enthusiastic individuals to help us tell that story. If this sounds like fun please give us a call or send us an email to let us know if you would like to join our team of docents. We welcome you!
Please contact the museum’s curator, Kim Parr, at parrk@libcoop.net or call the library with your expressed interest in becoming a museum docent at 586-771-9020.
We have a scheduled docent training class on January 26, 1 – 4 p.m. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn more about your local history.
