Macomb Township, Michigan issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
Door to Door solicitors must get a permit from Township Hall prior to selling anything in the Township. Currently, there are NO permitted vendors. If one comes to your door, please call the NON EMERGENCY NUMBER at the Sheriff’s department: 586-286-5445 and report the vendor. Be sure to report what street they are on and what time they were there. PLEASE do not call 911 to report a vendor.
