Charter Township of Shellby issued the following announcement on July 28.
The bridge on Ryan Road over the Clinton River between Hamlin Road and 22 Mile Road will be closed to traffic for the replacement of the existing bridge deck.
Upgrades include bridge barrier railings, approach work, guardrail replacement, beam and structure painting.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The route will be expected to reopen to traffic on September 4, 2020.
