Republican state Rep. Doug Wozniak of Shelby Township plans on spending plenty of time with his 36th District constituents in the coming days.

On Tuesday, Wozniak is set to host a live tele-townhall where the issue of recent auto insurance law changes will be front and center.

“I'll be joined by my colleague, Rep. Jason Wentworth, Chairman of the Select Committee on Reducing Car Insurance Rates,” Wozniak said in a post to Facebook. “I look forward to hearing from you.”

To attend the townhall meeting, call 855-756-7520 at 6 p.m. Tuesday and enter 54630#.

Then on Friday, Wozniak will be back in the district for his regular conversation hours, beginning at noon at the Wendy's on Van Dyke Avenue in Washington Township.

“I look forward to hearing any questions and concerns you have regarding state government,” he added in a separate post.

The 36th district covers part of Macomb County including Bruce, Washington and part of Shelby Township and the Village of Romeo.
