Rep. Josh Schriver, a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, marked the Easter weekend with a series of posts on his Twitter account reflecting on Christian themes and religious observances.

On April 3, 2026, Schriver posted a message referencing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ: “Were you there when they crucified my Lord?”

The following day, April 4, he acknowledged Holy Saturday with a brief greeting: “Happy Holy Saturday”.

On Easter Sunday, April 5, Schriver shared an enthusiastic message celebrating the resurrection of Christ: “HAPPY EASTER! LETS GO! IN THE REAURRECTION OF CHRIST, WE ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD REASON TO REJOICE! BE PRAYERFUL, HUMBLE AND KIND! HE WILL RAISE YOU UP ON THE LAST DAY!”

Easter is one of the most significant holidays in Christianity. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion and is observed by Christians worldwide. The holiday follows Good Friday and Holy Saturday in the liturgical calendar.

Rep. Josh Schriver serves as a state legislator in Michigan and has used social media to share personal reflections and greetings related to major religious events.
