Rep. Josh Schriver, an active social media user, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing various political and religious topics. His posts span discussions on race, government policy, and a significant event in the Catholic Church.

On May 7, 2025, Rep. Schriver commented on statements made by President Joe Biden regarding demographic changes in America. He tweeted: “Democrat says “YOU’RE RACIST” when hearing census data. Democrat says “MY SOURCE OF STRENGTH” when eliminating the White race. “…unrelenting immigration, non-stop. Whites will be an ABSOLUTE minority in America – that’s a source of our strength.” -Joe Biden”. This tweet references remarks attributed to President Biden concerning immigration and demographic shifts.

The following day, May 8, 2025, Rep. Schriver announced his co-sponsorship of legislation aimed at repealing the Real ID Act through bills HB 4473 and HB 4474. In his tweet he stated: “Co-Sponsorship Announcement: Real I.D. Repeal HB 4473 & 4474  “Real ID” is a conduit for control and surveillance by America’s government against her own people.”. This reflects his stance against what he perceives as government overreach into citizens’ privacy.

Later on the same day, Rep. Schriver expressed joy over a religious milestone within the Catholic Church with his tweet: “WHITE SMOKE! WE HAVE A NEW POPE! THANK YOU JESUS!”. The announcement signifies the election of a new pope following the traditional Vatican process signaled by white smoke from the Sistine Chapel chimney.
