On Wednesday, March 5, former L’Anse Creuse High School standout Will Goebel’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ashland Eagles.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 6:15 p.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Shorter Hawks.
