On Wednesday, March 19, former Dakota High School standout Preston Leon’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. Thomas Tommies.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their first matchup against the Tommies this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field against High Point Panthers.
