On Sunday, April 6, former Dakota High School standout Preston Leon’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 15-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their third matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field against South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
