On Sunday, April 6, former Dakota High School standout Megan Nuechterlein’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The game took place at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Monday, April 7 at 4 p.m. at Sharon J. Drysdale Field against Northwestern Wildcats.
