On Friday, March 7, former Dakota High School standout Megan Nuechterlein’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Louis Billikens.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Billikens this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Illinois State Redbirds.
