On Thursday, March 6, former L’Anse Creuse High School standout Will Goebel’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwood Timberwolves.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Timberwolves this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 9:15 a.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Tiffin Dragons.
