On Saturday, March 15, former L’Anse Creuse High School standout Will Goebel’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, won 19-13 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Gannon Golden Knights.

The game took place at GVSU Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Knights this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at Historic Simmons Field against Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.
