On Sunday, March 30, former L’Anse Creuse High School standout Will Goebel’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at GVSU Baseball Field against Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.
