State Rep. Tom Kuhn (R-Troy) expressed his gratitude to Pujari Pradipkumar Patel, the head pujari at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Sterling Heights, for delivering the opening invocation at a recent session of the Michigan House of Representatives.

“It was an honor to welcome Pujari Pradipkumar Patel to the Capitol today,” said Kuhn. “His thoughtful and uplifting invocation reminded us of the spiritual values that unite our communities.”

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir serves as a Hindu place of worship and is known for its community involvement in Southeast Michigan. The temple offers educational programs, charitable activities, and interfaith outreach as part of its mission.

“BAPS continues to make a meaningful impact in our state through service, education, and civic engagement,” said Kuhn. “Their commitment to building stronger communities is something we can all appreciate and support.”
