On Friday, May 16, former Dakota High School standout Faith Maloney’s current collegiate team the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals won 6-5 against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at SVSU Softball Complex at 1:30 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in the tournament.

The Saginaw Valley State Cardinals’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 1:50 p.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
