On Wednesday, April 9, former Dakota High School standout Preston Leon’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the St. Thomas Tommies.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their second matchup against the Tommies this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 4 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium against Ohio State Buckeyes.
