On Sunday, March 23, former Dakota High School standout Preston Leon’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the High Point Panthers.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 at 3 p.m. at Siebert Field against Iowa Hawkeyes.
